This is a new record for me, a whole 6 months without posting. What can I say, life just got in the way of everything RPG! So, if you have been passing this way, many apologies for my absense.
It has to said however that there is not a lot of news I can bring you. I have just finished playing a rotation of Dark Heresy. There were only 2 players (there was a third but a family illness meant he was unable to make it) which meant the scenario had to be altered somewhat. It was still enjoyable however, and Dark Heresy being one of my favourite games I really hope I can play it again soon.
Next rotation sees me playing D&D 4th Ed. I have generated a Shadar-Kai Invoker, a race and class I've never played before, so looking forward to that.
Well thats about it, I'll try my best not to leave it another 6mths before posting again

Well thats the end of another rotation, and time to say au revoir to Jim Dagger. A fine time, although a little disjointed, was most certainly had, and I look forward to playing the most fearsome (incompetent) pirate on the high seas again sometime soon.
Next time out sees me playing Star Trek. My character, Seth Krogan has been around for some years and has recently been appointed captain of his own ship. My work commitments mean that I'm going to miss 3 weeks of the rotation, but I'm sure my Number 1 will keep things in good order whilst I'm away.
On that note, postings here may become a little sporadic, but I'll try my best
So live long and prosper, make it so number 1!

This rotation was promised to be one of daring tales of adventrue on the high seas with another sojourn into Gallon O'Galleons, a pirate game based on the highly acclaimed L5R rules. Unfortunately the game has fallen foul of reality devilry meaning our DM has been unable to make most of the weeks thus far.
We have played this game a number of times and it is one of my all time favourites. Every session contains at least one laugh out lould belly laugh scene, the rules definitely coming second place to the role playing, with all players settling back ino their roles with consumate ease, the benefit of playing long establised favourite characters.
I can only hope that the remainder of the rotation can be played without disruption, but I fear we may have to wait for another rotation before we can truly enjoy an extended run playing this game.

Perceptive readers will notice quite a gap between this and the last post. Well, the main reason for this is getting a new job following being made redundant. I'm still very much finding my feet and the work is being piled my way. So thats the main reason, the other being, well, clubwise nothing really has happened of any real note. Numbers are still good, games being played are still varied and everyone appears happy.
The christmas period always impacts on attendance, what with work parties and family commitments, but we'll still get people come along I'm sure.
I'll try my very best to post more regularly than I have been, maybe even try to do a weekly post at least. We'll have to see...

The club it seems is going from strength to strength. Over the past few months or so we have seen quite a few new faces around the place. Its encouraging too that we seem to be attracting all age ranges, and dare I say it, women too.
We need to ensure we have as many varied games running as possible, but I don't think this is going to be a problem as we have a lot of very good GM's who come along.
Long may this trend continue, and as ever, new members are always welcome.
